TAKING THE SAT AND THE ACT

Registration for the SAT and the ACT is done through an on-line registration system through the SAT/ACT web pages NOT through the school.

ACT Test Dates

SAT Test Dates

Because students are likely to perform better on one of the two major college entrance tests, one strategy is to take both the SAT and the ACT in the spring of the junior year, and then take one of the tests again in the fall of the senior year. Look at the test schedule well ahead of time to avoid paying late fees.

Students who meet eligibility guidelines may qualify for a fee waiver. (ACT fee waiver, SAT fee waiver)  Contact the College & Career Readiness Specialist or YOUR COUNSELOR to request a fee waiver.
