Summer Assignment for Honors English 10
9th
Honors English is NOT a prerequisite for this class; however, students
who have taken 9th Honors and were successful are more likely to succeed
in 10th Honors English. Students who have not taken 9th Honors may
struggle (especially the first few weeks), but most of those students
acclimate to the rigor and grow as readers and writers. Students
should be prepared for an increase in homework and more challenging
texts compared to the standard 9th grade English class.
