OHS Community Council

OHS Community Council brings parents and guardians and the OHS administration together. Meetings provide a forum for sharing ideas and concerns, asking questions, staying informed, and being involved in school policies, programs, and activities. An OHS administrator attends each meeting to answer questions and address concerns. Occasionally, a guest speaker presents a short program or the Community Council presents special programs on topics of interest to parents.

Funding?

OHS Community Council is not a fundraising group and does not participate in any fundraising activities. However, Community Council supports staff through a variety of staff appreciation activities. To cover the cost of its activities, Community Council requests donations, as outlined in the Bear Essentials Handbook.

As a parent or guardian of a student at Olympia High School, we welcome you to join us at our monthly parent information meetings or to sign-up as a member to get our e-mails with information about school activities and volunteer opportunities! If you would like to become more involved or have any questions, contact any of the board members.

Meetings are usually held on the third Thursday of each month in the Library starting at6:00 and closing promptly at 7:30.
