Graduation Information

Starting on June 3	GPA HONOR CORDS - Seniors with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA at the end of the first semester of their senior year will have the opportunity to wear an honor cord during the graduation ceremony. Unfortunately we cannot round up on GPAs. Cords are optional and may be purchased in the Main Office during lunches, before school, and after school. Cost is $8.00 with card or exact cash. Gold Honor Cord: 3.750 - 4.000 Silver Honor Cord: 3.500 - 3.749 Bronze Honor Cord: 3.000 - 3.499 SPSCC Running Start Associate Degree candidate cords can only be purchased at SPSCC.
June 3	NIGHT OF STARS Scholarship and award recipients have been notified. Event will be in the OHS PAC. 5:30pm Alumni Walk of Fame (optional for students) 6-7pm Alumni Celebration & Reception (optional for students) 7pm Awards program - OHS Foundation Scholarships will be presented along with Alumni Hall of Fame nominees

June 5	BACCALAUREATE This non-denominational celebration will be at St. Michael's Church at 7pm. This event is hosted by the Senior Parents (not OHS). Students should wear their caps & gowns.
June 6	SENIOR CHECK OUT FORMS will be available in the Library, ASB Office, and Main Office. Students get signoffs from: Library - turn in all textbooks and library books Library - turn in all OSD assigned technology ASB or Main Office - pay all fines and fees Counseling / College & Career Readiness Center High School and Beyond Plan met Senior Exit Survey completed Naviance college list updated Counseling Center (obtain this signoff after the June 11 Assembly) Graduation Requirements met
June 11	MORNING ACTIVITIES Elementary School Walk: Students should wear caps & gowns. Senior Breakfast: 9:15am in the OHS Commons - do not wear cap & gown. Senior Assembly: In the OHS Gym after breakfast. Wear Senior or Bear Wear.
June 11 after Senior Assembly	GRADUATION TICKETS – Pick up by Graduating Senior only. Seniors may have up to 6 tickets for guests to attend the ceremony. To receive tickets students must obtain all staff signoffs on the Senior Checkout Form. Extra tickets will be given out after Grad Practice on June 13.
June 13 at 10am	GRADUATION PRACTICE FOR STUDENTS AT SAINT MARTIN'S PAVILION Do not wear cap & gown. Any extra grad tickets are given out after Grad Practice.
June 13	GRADUATION AT SAINT MARTIN'S Seniors must arrive by 6:00pm at Saint Martin's in the Worthington Center. Ceremony starts at 7:00pm. Students - Only bring small items you can keep in pockets. There is no storage for bags or anything else during the ceremony. Leave items in the car or give to a parent/guest to hold for you. Seats may not be saved in the Pavilion for guests. First come, first served. Handicapped seating is available, seated on the floor behind the graduates for the individual and one caregiver. Handicap passes are given to students when they pick up Grad Tickets. The Graduation ceremony will be live streamed and the link is available on the OHS Homepage. O’Connor Photography will be taking pictures of the diploma presentation. Parents/guests are not allowed to come down on the floor to take pictures. Caps can be decorated and only OHS approved stoles, cords, and medals can be worn. Students will be asked to remove other items unless they have been approved by Mr. Grant ahead of time for their cultural celebrations. Balloons and leis are not permitted inside the Pavilion. Save those for afterwards! LIVE STREAMING GRADUATION Pavilion will be live streamed on the OSD Facebook Live page Like and follow for updates also check back for photo albums and recording of graduation. June 13	GRAD NIGHT PARTY Students will load buses immediately after graduation. This activity is sponsored by Senior parents.
July 12	FINAL TRANCRIPTS will be mailed out.
