At the beginning of the 2022-23 school year a group of marketing students at Olympia High School came together and unveiled a two year campaign intent on increasing student support for women's sports at OHS called 'Bears Support all Bears'. They added local business sponsors, created a social media presence and introduced several activities at OHS women's sporting events such as a handstand contest at gymnastics meets and a free throw contest at basketball games.
These same students went on to write about this initiative and compete in the Washington state Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) Project Management: Community Awareness event.
