Welcome to Oly Bear Preschool

A happy place to learn and grow since 1979.

 

In Oly Bear Preschool, every child receives high-quality one-on-one attention from Early Childhood Ed. students at Olympia High School. Under the guidance of the Preschool Director and Early Childhood Ed. Teacher, children learn and play with their high-school buddies, exploring art, science, literacy, and movement. The morning program is for 3.5- and 4-year-olds, and the afternoon program is for Pre-K / 4- and 5-year-olds.

 

Oly Bear Preschool is managed by the Olympia High School and the school district's Career & Technical Education department. The Preschool was established in 1979 as a learning lab for the Olympia High School ECE program.

 

Please Note: Oly Bear Preschool is a group-based learning lab with limited specialized staffing. If your child may need individualized supports or accommodations to participate successfully, please contact OSD Early Learning so we can discuss your child’s needs and the supports available in our program.

Oly Bear Information

    • Open to children ages 3 and 4. The child must be 3 1/2 yrs old by September 1st and completely potty trained.
    • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
    • 18 preschoolers in the class 

    • Open to children ages 4 and 5
    • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 12:45 – 3:45 p.m.
    • 18 preschoolers in the class

    • Half tuition is due for the months of Sept. and Dec. NO tuition for the month of June.
    • A $20 late fee applies to payments made after the 10th of the month.
    • There is a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee.
