OHS Construction Update

Front Parking

Front parking circle is open for staff and visitors. There is some additional concrete repairs that will be scheduled at a later date, but won't limit the access or traffic for the circle. The landscaping portion of this project will be completed in the spring.

Music room

This project is moving along according to schedule. Next on the timeline, the roof, brickwork, and connection doors and hallways to the main building.

Classroom addition will have the final concrete section poured on Friday, October 11. Walls and roof sections will continue being constructed and installed.

Science classrooms

It was determined that our Construction team will need additional space in order to build and Portable 8 and 9 will need to be vacated and (P8) removed before work could continue. As of Monday, October 14, Randy Weeks and his classes will move into P6 and Brenda Blancas and her classes will move into P7 for the remainder of the 19-20 school year. Thank you to Randy, Brenda, and Carolyn's crew for being flexible to make this happen.

Parking lots

Majority of the work is finished in the student parking. Both entry drives are open for access. We do not anticipate any further closures for the student lot.

Ingersoll lot will have sections of the lot closed to address the drainage issues. This work is scheduled for late November, December but will be weather dependent.

Main Office Entry

Our entry hasn't seen much progress. We are in a holding pattern, waiting for windows, doors, and casework to arrive for this project to move forward.
