Basic Systems
The PAC has 2 systems which allow simple, limited operation of microphones and lights by a person with a minimum of training.
Audio
The Auto-Mic system allows the basic hook-up and use of up to 4 microphones and playback devices in a simple system. There are 3 versions of the manual.
Text only version includes written instruction with no graphics. Fine if you are somewhat familiar with our theatre and audio equipment.
Auto-mic Powerpoint is a visual manual with pictures, circles, and arrows. If you don't have power point, thry the PDF version of the slide show.
Lighting
The Stage Manager's Panel lighting system, allows the user to light the front of the stage adequately for the most simple events, including a fixed spotlight for a lectern.
Main Systems
The pages in the Lighting and Sound sections contain documents related to the use of the more advanced equipment in the PAC. They are an excellent place to start if you are learning about our systems. They include step-by-step instructions for basic use as well as some limited explanations of key technical terms. They also include links to manufacturer manuals, spec sheets, and documentation. It is not, however as a substitute for formal training in the use of this equipment.
