Graduation Requirement Credits
Twenty-two (22) credits earned in grades 9 through 12 are
required. A credit is defined as 180 fifty-minute hours of
classroom instruction. Olympia High School operates on a semester
system with a six period day; .50 credit is granted for the successful
completion of a semester's work in each class. Required courses:

Washington State History .5 (If not taken in middle school or in another state)
World History (10th) 1.0
United States History (11th) 1.0
Senior Social Studies- 1.0 - Economics, Psychology, Current World Problems,Sociology, Social Issues or Government & Civics

- Arts 1.0 (For Class of 2008 and beyond)
- Occupational Education 1.0
