Fun jobs I have had:
West Seattle Bridge Project: early 1980's; designed approach structure foundations
Kaiser Aluminum: designed software in the materials testing lab, and did process-control programming (C language), which means I programmed the computers that controlled the manufacturing process of making molten aluminum from alumina ore.
In New Mexico I wrote computer programs to test hardware, like the transfer of data from the CPU to memory.
