Second Semester

 

Project #1 Lower Body and  #2 Upper Body Project

 

The following two assignments will be completed during second semester.  The project descriptions and due dates are listed below.

 

Lower Body Project

Start Date: March 20, 2017   * All project materials due in class.

Due Date:  April 28th, 2017

Point Value:  200 points

 

Description:

The first individual project second semester is a garment that fits the lower torso (waist down).  Students will construct a garment according to their current skill level and purchase their own pattern, fabric, and notions.  Notions include any item that is required to complete the garment in addition to the fabric and pattern (thread, buttons, elastic, etc…).  This garment can be made for another individual.



Upper Body Project

Start Date:  May 1, 2017   *All project materials due in class.

Due Date:  June 16, 2017 (May 8th, Seniors)

Point Value:  200 points

 

Description:  

The second individual project second semester is a garment that fits the upper torso (shoulders to waist ).  Students will construct a garment according to their skill level and purchase their own pattern, fabric, and notions.  

 

Financial Assistance:  Funds are available to assist with project costs for those who qualify for free and reduced lunch.  Patterns must be selected from McCall’s School Pattern program and will become part of the class pattern inventory when the student completes the project.  If you need financial assistance please see Mrs. Jensen at least one week before required start date for both projects.  You can also email Mrs. Jensen to request assistance at:
