ENGLISH DEPARTMENT
Our classes focus on reading, writing, and discussions about both. Being present in class on a daily basis is important! Reading and writing is a group process. Learning happens during discussion that cannot be replicated. Your presence, your voice, and your opinions are all essential to your growth and the learning of others in the class.
We are all developing readers and writers. The more we practice and discuss our work, the more we learn about ourselves and the world in which we live. Being present for readings, writing assignments, and discussions are a valuable part of our practice of both verbal and written language. We also learn to listen to the opinions of others. When you are present, we all benefit. So continute to read, write, and be present every day!
